✅ Shopify Website Builder – We Have A Deal ➡️
Starting an online business or eCommerce site is probably easier than ever. But even then, you don’t want to waste your time on an inferior eCommerce platform. That’s why I’m here with my in-depth Shopify vs Squarespace review…

Squarespace vs Shopify Pricing And Plans
💰Both Shopify and Squarespace offer a 14-day trial period, so you can test their platforms without spending any money. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t a free plan. While you can test out nearly all parts of these platforms, you can’t publish a website or start selling anything.
💰Shopify vs Squarespace is also similar in the premium plan offerings. All of Shopify’s plans come with the necessary bells and whistles, starting at $30 per month. They include unlimited storage space, bandwidth, and products. Squarespace starts off cheaper, however, these options lack eCommerce integration.

Squarespace vs Shopify Ease of Use!
🔧 Now, while pricing is similar, once you start building your website, the differences become very noticeable. With Squarespace, you can choose from a selection of over 110 templates or build your own from top to bottom using an intuitive albeit a bit simple tool. If you decide to go with Shopify, you’ll get the selection of 12 free templates… yeah, just 12… the other 149 cost around $60.
🔧 I’m not going to lie, I really dig the Squarespace editor. The drag-and-drop controls here are smooth and the Grid system makes it an easy process to build your site. I like that it shows when the element is directly in the middle of your design. There is a large selection of elements, including image galleries, music players, and social media feeds. If you’re creative, Squarespace gives you all you need to build a modern-looking and working portfolio.
🔧 Like comparing Squarespace to Shopify, Shopify is far more restrictive. Sure there is a decent selection of sections you can add, but each section has only one, max two versions. You also can’t add or reposition individual elements to create something more unique. All of your work with the section is done through the left menu, while you customize the content on the right side.

Squarespace vs Shopify – eCommerce Features
🔥 Squarespace’s online store management tools are somewhat more limited compared to Shopify, which aligns with Squarespace’s broader website-building focus. Shopify boasts a wider array of advanced third-party tools, while Squarespace primarily emphasizes in-house solutions.
🔥 However, it’s important to note that neither approach is inherently inferior. In some instances, I found Squarespace’s tools to be smoother and more robust, while in others, I appreciated Shopify’s selection of easily integrable apps. Overall, adding products or managing your inventory, you know, the basis of any eCommerce site, are very similar.

Conclusion
Okay, honestly, both of these providers can be considered the best ecommerce platforms. They have everything a modern business site needs… Squarespace is more for design, marketing, and promotions – an amazing tool for creatives. Shopify is all about optimizing your sales and expanding your company – an outstanding platform for more business-focused projects.
